Transporting

Standing Up -vs- Laying Down....

Standing the unit upright while transporting requires no additional set-up when the unit is to the final destination

If laying the unit down while transporting, It can be laid onto one of the sides. Preferably on the burner side (Left side as you are standing in front of the unit) facing down. This enables the unit to be stood up without needing to be burped.

If transporting on any other side, "Burp" the unit when at the final destination before operation. "Burping" can be accomplished by one of the following;

A.) Tilt the unit to the left to about a 45 degree angle and hold for 2-3 minutes. then tilt to the right to about a 45 degree angle and hold for 2-3 minutes.

B.) Completely turn the unit up side down and let sit on the top for approx. 15 minutes. Turn the unit back onto the feet and let sit for approx. 15 minutes prior to lighting. NOTE - turn from side to side, not front to back.

If for some reason, the unit does not cool completely after 2 days of normal operation, repeat one of the above processes.
